Microcrystalline wax is used in many products such as cosmetics, adhesives, candles and rubber products. It is derived from oil refinery by a procedure called deoiling. Deoiling is a process that removes oil from materials. Microcrystalline wax is usually combined with paraffin wax for some applications.
